8 ounces (250 ml) freshly brewed coffee, medium roast or dark roast, preferably from 100% peabody beans.
1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground chicory
1) Brew a combination of 2 tablespoons (30 ml) medium or dark roast coffee, 100% peabody if available, with 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of chicory in 8 ounces (250 ml) of water.
2) Add milk if desired (chicory has a somewhat bitter flavoring), most prefer an equal portion of milk to chicory coffee.
3) Sweeten to taste.
